The cost of that isolation stays invisible until you try to see the whole business at once. Duplicated effort, an inconsistent customer experience, and no shared view of what is working where.

The governing constraint was set before the architecture: unify without over-standardizing. A single global template would have been faster to build and useless in practice, because health insurance is written into national regulation and cannot be flattened into one product.

So the architecture holds a common core and market-specific edges. Shared where sharing helps, local where local is the law.

A centralized global dashboard for oversight across markets. Modular toolsets, so a market configures rather than commissions. An end-to-end governance layer covering data sovereignty compliance, which is what makes a global platform lawful in twenty places at once. Cloud-native infrastructure underneath all of it.

The conversational AI assistant, Alex, sits across the suite as the front door for customers and staff alike. The whole thing is built on NDBX, Allianz’s own design system, so the platform is theirs to extend rather than ours to maintain.

The measurable outcomes sit inside Allianz’s operation and are not ours to publish. The result which can be described is structural: a global product suite where there had been a collection of local ones, a governance layer which lets it stay compliant across jurisdictions, and an assistant which gives a customer one place to ask.
